MD Payroll Advisors is a member of MD Advisors Group. Our mission is to provide payroll processing and advisory services which allow business owners and key personnel to do what they do best…grow their business.
MD Payroll Advisors was founded in 2003 by Randy E. Milbrett and James H. Dauk. Randy and Jim are also the shareholders of MD CPA's & Advisors, which started processing payrolls for its clients in 1970. As the demand for payroll processing grew, so did the need to expand their services and specialize in payroll processing. MD Payroll Advisors was then formed to focus solely on payroll processing so as to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
Since the company began in 2003, we have evolved to become the premier payroll processor in the Mankato area and the upper Midwest. We can provide basic payroll check processing and also offer completely paperless payroll processing through state of the art technology. The staff at MD Payroll Advisors is continuously expanding their payroll education and knowledge. When the American Payroll Association began administering a Certified Payroll Professional examination, our staff immediately met the criteria and passed the certification to achieve an industry standard in ethics and payroll processing techniques. We also have dedicated payroll specialists with many years of experience servicing businesses with one to several hundred employees.

They offer a wide range of services, including QuickBooks setup, training, and troubleshooting. In addition, many Certified ProAdvisors® are CPAs, small-business consultants, and tax experts.
American Payroll Association - Founded in 1982 it is run by a professional staff under the direction of the Executive Director, the member President, and Board of Directors. The Association pursues objectives such as increasing the Payroll Professional’s skill level through education and mutual support and providing public service education on payroll and employment issues.
